Senior Property Tax Work Program

This program enables elders 60 years and older, with low to moderate income the opportunity to work off a portion of their property tax by working part-time for the Town. These positions can be found in the various school and municipal departments.

Eligible candidates will meet the following qualifications:

60 years of age or older
Homeowner or current spouse
Resident of Wilmington
Occupy the property for which taxes are paid
Limited financial resources

Application / Selection Process

Qualified applicants will be interviewed by Department Head upon referral.
