E-GOVERNMENT AWARD WITH DISTINCTION
Each year, Common Cause of Massachusetts evaluates the websites of all 351 municipalities in the commonwealth to determine whether they have key governance documents available on-line. The survey coincides with a national initiative known as “Sunshine Week” in which the media and other groups address issues of governmental transparency. The Town of Wilmington was among 83 communities presented with the e-Government Award with Distinction at State House ceremonies on March 16.
