Positions are posted internally in accordance with collective bargaining agreements to determine whether a qualified employee is interested in a promotion or a transfer. Entry level and professional positions are typically advertised in the local newspapers or, when appropriate, a professional trade journal or the Sunday Boston Globe. It is recommended that individuals interested in employment with the Town complete an employment application and/or submit a resume and cover letter explaining their particular interests. Individuals interested in employment with
the School Department should make inquiry to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools.
