The Public Buildings Department is responsible for approximately 750,000 square feet of building space. The department provides custodial services for all school buildings and most of the general government buildings. In addition to the custodial services, the department repairs and maintains all of the Town's municipal buildings. Public Buildings provides for the complete set-up at all Town elections and the annual and special town meetings.

Replaced the domestic hot water system in the North Intermediate School
Woburn Street School gym was sanded and lined and finished
Replaced the boiler at the cemetary office
Converted the Boutwell Street School to natural gas and installed 2 new furnaces
