Due to the impending snow storm, there will be no residential trash or recycling pickup on Tuesday January 27th, 2015. Tuesday’s pickup will occur on Wednesday, resulting in the rest of the week being delayed by one day,
ending with Friday’s pickup occurring on Saturday.

The Wilmington DPW is responsible for the maintaining Town’s highways, drainage system, trees, parks, cemeteries, water supply, sanitary sewers, refuse, and recycling. The department maintains more than 110 miles of roadway and associated infrastructure. In addition, the Public Works Department oversees a curbside recycling program for many household items and oversees a contract for residential solid waste collection.
